When someone you love is living with a life-limiting illness, every moment matters. Emerald Wings Hospice provides compassionate, in-person hospice care that focuses on comfort, dignity, and quality of life, wherever your loved one calls home.
Whether you’re exploring hospice for the first time or need support right away, we’re here to guide you with honesty, kindness, and experience.

What Is Hospice?
More than medical care. It's compassionate support for the whole family.
Hospice is specialised care for people living with a terminal illness when the focus shifts from curing the disease to making every day as comfortable and meaningful as possible.
At Emerald Wings Hospice, we care for the whole person, not just their diagnosis. We manage pain and symptoms while also providing emotional, spiritual, and practical support for both patients and the people who love them.
Our goal is simple: to help families spend less time worrying about care and more time being together.

When Is It Time for Hospice?
It's okay to ask. We're here to help.
There isn’t a perfect moment to begin hospice. Many families tell us they wish they had called sooner.
Hospice may be appropriate when:
- A serious illness is no longer responding to curative treatment.
- Hospital visits or emergency room trips are becoming more frequent.
- Daily activities have become increasingly difficult.
- Comfort and quality of life have become the primary priority.
- A physician believes life expectancy may be six months or less if the illness follows its natural course.
If you’re unsure whether it’s the right time, we’re happy to have a conversation. There’s never an obligation to begin care.
Where We Provide Care
Hospice isn't a place. It's care that comes to you.
We provide hospice care wherever patients feel most comfortable, including private homes, assisted living communities, memory care communities, skilled nursing facilities, and long-term care residences.
Our goal is to help patients remain in familiar surroundings with the people they love.
Why Families Choose Emerald Wings

Local care with familiar faces
Because we’re locally owned and intentionally keep our caseloads manageable, families receive compassionate, personal care from people they know and trust.

Time to truly listen.
Some of the most meaningful moments happen after the medical care is complete. We believe those conversations matter just as mush as clinical expertise.

Care for the whole family
We support spouses, children, relatives, and caregivers alongside every patient because hospice is a journey no one should face alone.
